Location: - Tulani Safari Lodge is situated in the Balule Nature Reserve, 30kms from the Phalborwa gate to the Kruger National Park. We can arrange transfers to the Eastgate Airport and Hoedspruit, or the Kruger Park Gateway airport in Phalaborwa.
Accommodation: - The luxurious thatched lodge has 25 airconditioned en-suite accommodation rooms set in typical Lowveld bush country. Bird-life abounds and animals can be observed from your room or from the viewing deck in the restaurant complex. Every day, a new menu of typical South African home-cooked meals. Dinner time is social time, as everybody gets together around communal tables to chat and enjoy a four-course buffet dinner. A starter and soup is served at the table with delectable home-baked bread. Tulani is ideally situated as a base for visiting Kruger National Park or doing some outstanding day-drives to exciting destinations in the Lowveld and the Drakensberg escarpment. Activities: - A bush walk or a short game drive on the Tulani property can be arranged. Many guests use Tulani as a base to visit the Kruger National Park.
If you do not wish to drive yourselves, Tulani can arrange for a full day trip into the Kruger Nation Park in a minibus, or an open vehicle trip into the Kruger National Park.
Golfers can make use of the opportunity to play at the world renowned Hans Merensky Golf course, which is only 30 km away. The Hans Merensky club adjoins the Kruger National Park, and a variety of wild animals can normally be seen on the course.
Tulani can also be used as a base to visit the Kapama Cheetah project, or take a full day drive to the spectacular Panorama route of the Drakensberg escarpment. On the 'Panorama' day outing, memorable places to visit are Pilgrim's Rest the historical mining town, view the Three Rondavels, Lisbon Falls, Gods Window and Bouke's Luck pot holes.
