This game reserve is pristine with riverine bushveld, mixed woodland and open grassland habitats, perfect for the wildlife that inhabit this unspoiled region. Visitors can expect to see the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and buffalo), ot the Magnificent Seven when you include Cheetah and Wild Dog then also Hippo, Crocodiles and a host of smaller game. Bird watching is also excellent with some 400 species being recorded. In the heart of Edeni Game Reserve lies the Edeni Bush Lodge, from where the "Big Five" can be viewed "close up and personal" whilst enjoying the African ambience in relative comfort. Edeni Bush Lodge aims to offer its guests a much more ‘up close and personal’ bush experience – perfect for the visitor who wants to get more out of the bushveld than simply ticking off the Big 5.
